  • How long does the mute take effect for?
    As required by AS 1546.3:2017, the siren mute on Treatment Tech products will reset after 24 hours.
  • What does the Wi-Fi upgrade cost?
    Wi-Fi functionality is a standard feature of the FLEX controller and the use of Wastewater Cloud for monitoring is free for the home owner. Trade customers can contact us for a free trial subscription of Wastewater Cloud’s trade service agent functionality.
  • What’s the difference between the FLEX and BASIC?
    The FLEX controller has settings so that it can be configured for different applications, plus Wi-Fi connectivity as a standard feature. If you just want a simple option for plants where the pump and blower are constantly powered then the BASIC is the lower cost option.
  • What is Wastewater Cloud and how does it work?
    Wastewater Cloud is a free (for owners) online platform that lets you monitor your treatment plant remotely. Treatment Tech controllers with a Wi-Fi module connect to your home Wi-Fi and communicate with the Wastewater Cloud server. You can check your plant’s status from any device, receive email alerts if a fault occurs, and your service technician can be linked to receive notifications too. Wi-Fi is a standard feature on the FLEX and available as an option on the BASIC. More information can be found here.
  • Does my local council require remote monitoring?
    Some Local Government Areas are now requiring remote monitoring for treatment plants in certain circumstances, such as proximity to waterways or short-stay accommodation. If you’re unsure whether this applies to you, check with your local council or ask your service technician. Wastewater Cloud can help meet these remote monitoring requirements.
